Discover how clovers, Reiki, and the Lion’s Gate Portal teach us stillness, abundance, and the magic of receiving.
Grounding in Green: A Clover Reiki Reflection
Have you ever searched for a four-leaf clover? Those tiny green symbols of magic and hope have fascinated me since childhood.
Last year, during a season of fatigue and stress, that fascination deepened. One day, while walking by a quiet green space, I paused — not intentionally, but because something in me softened at the sight of a patch of shamrocks. Instinctively, I began scanning the grass. The motion slowed my breath and calmed my mind. After a little while, I found a four-leaf clover. And another the next day.
Soon, it became a ritual — sometimes finding clovers, sometimes not, but always finding stillness. Over time, I collected four-, five-, even six-leaf clovers. Each one reminded me that beauty is all around, waiting for us to notice.
This gentle rhythm echoed what I experience in Reiki: how stillness, presence, and openness invite renewal.
Manifesting Abundance on the Lion’s Gate Portal – 08/08/2025
On August 8th, 2025, during the Lion’s Gate Portal — a day many associate with manifestation and spiritual growth — I received an unexpected lesson in abundance.
At 3:47 AM, a false fire alarm jolted my whole family awake. Sleep never returned, and the day demanded focus despite heavy fatigue. By evening, I longed to head straight home, but a lush patch of shamrocks caught my eye and drew me in.
My heart leapt like a child on Christmas morning. Hands brushing the greenery, I savored the weekend’s first quiet moment. A couple nearby noticed my search, and when I explained, the man smiled, bent down, and quickly plucked a perfect four-leaf clover.
He handed it to me. In that instant, I felt not just surprise, but deep gratitude. I love the joy of finding clovers myself, yet this experience revealed something greater: abundance is everywhere — not just in what we search for, but in what we allow ourselves to receive.
It’s a truth I also witness in my work with Reiki, healing, and abundance.
The Clover and the Energy of Reiki
Clover is a humble plant — not flashy, not fussy. It grows where it pleases, often underfoot, unnoticed. And yet, it is rich with meaning. In Celtic tradition, the three-leaf shamrock represents balance: mind, body, and spirit. The rare four-leaf clover often symbolizes hope, faith, love, and luck — a reminder that magic can arise in the most ordinary places.
Reiki carries the same quiet wisdom. Harmony and abundance are not always dramatic; they emerge gently, already present, waiting for us to notice. It invites us to step out of autopilot — to pause, listen, and create space for the subtle messages of body, mind, and heart. Like a clover suddenly spotted among the grass, Reiki helps us recognize these blessings as signs of alignment.
A Clover-Inspired Energy Meditation
You don’t need to be a Reiki practitioner to connect with the healing energy around you. This gentle meditation invites you to slow down, connect with the present, and receive — with the clover as your guide.
Try this simple practice:
- Find a peaceful spot. Sit or lie down somewhere quiet, with a clover nearby — fresh, dried, or even drawn. If you don’t have one, just picture it in your mind.
- Take a few deep breaths. Let your body soften.
- Visualize a field of clovers. Imagine yourself surrounded by a lush, green field — soft, vibrant, and full of life.
- Invite gentle energy. Place your hands over your heart, belly, or anywhere that feels right. Imagine warm, loving energy flowing from your hands — like sunlight nourishing both you and the earth beneath you.
- Absorb the clover’s qualities. With each breath, draw in the clover’s energy: calm, resilience, and grounded presence.
- Set an intention. Picture a four-leaf clover emerging. Ask gently, “What gift am I ready to receive?”
- Close with gratitude. Bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Give thanks for this moment of connection — with nature, with energy, and with yourself.
Reiki: The Inner Four-Leaf Clover
Perhaps the greatest luck isn’t in finding a clover, but in remembering that hope, healing, and abundance already live within you and around you.
Reiki helps us reconnect to this truth — to restore what was scattered, to soothe what feels strained, and to rediscover magic in the quietest moments.
So the next time you see a patch of clovers, pause, breathe, and listen. You may not find a clover every time. But you just might find yourself.
