About Michelle Henry
I am a strong believer in synchronicity. That the things in life happen at the right time and that the challenge is to see the gift in what is unfolding.
I spent many years working in the corporate environment while learning about alternative modalities in my off hours. Although I was working in a linear environment, I was able to explore a level of creativity through various assignments to project initiative teams over the years. I was also able to help train and coach team members during my team leader and management roles. Outside of work, I utilized many practitioners over the years and saw the benefits of various alternative and complementary practices such Naturopathy, Craniosacral therapy, Shamanic Healing, Homeopathy, Reiki, and Reflexology to name a few. Not only have I seen the benefits for myself, I have seen the benefits for my daughter and our animal companions.
A series of events happened that lead me more deeply onto the path of Reiki. I had taken Reiki decades ago, then I took it again to help my senior dog. I saw the benefits it had on her and became interested in learning more. I continued my journey by taking more courses, connecting with other practitioners and finding connections through a Reiki community. We are always sharing, learning and growing.
I am a firm believer in being a student for life so I am always looking to grow and develop my Reiki practice, skills and knowledge to share with and assist clients.
While I have a keen interest in working with animals, animal companions and their guardians, I also work with humans and life situations where Reiki can be helpful.
I am a Registered Usui/Holy Fire® III World Peace Reiki Master* and an ICRT Animal Reiki I & II, Master. I am also an affiliate member of the International Centre of Reiki Training and abide by the Reiki Membership Association (RMA) Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
I have completed the following courses that help to support me in the practice of Reiki:

USUI Reiki Level I & II
Usui/Holy Fire® III World Peace Reiki Master*

The day before the session I’ll send you a link to connect: The video session will be 30 minutes. We'll begin by having a brief introductory discussion, any concerns you have for your animal companion as well as set intentions for the session. Your camera can be on or off and your animal companion can be relaxed or go about their regular activities. I will initiate the distant Reiki healing process.
I will let you know when the session concludes. An additional 10 minutes is available after if you wish, for discussion, to offer any impressions or to answer any questions.

You have the option of having a Reiki meditation or experience included in your session. Your camera can be off and you can sit or lie down and make yourself comfortable. I will initiate the distant Reiki healing process.
As the session concludes, I will gently bring you back to the present moment. An additional 10 minutes is available after if you wish, for discussion, to offer any impressions or to answer any questions.
After the session be sure to drink water and stay hydrated.
