EcoNIDRA: Deep Relaxation & Nature Connection
Where savasana meets nature connection and forest therapy. Join Certified EcoNIDRA Teacher Kirien for an hour of deep rest and reconnection with your inner and outer nature—Fridays at 19:00 CET. EcoNIDRA is a form of Yoga Nidra that weaves together elements of forest therapy, sensory awareness, and mindful nature connection. The practice is received in savasana (or any comfortable resting position) while guided voice and nature sounds take you on a journey—through the senses, the body, and the Earth. EcoNIDRA is especially supportive for anyone who struggles to get outdoors during colder, darker seasons, has mobility limitations, or simply finds nature connection difficult in their current environment. This practice offers an accessible way to experience the soothing presence of nature—no matter where you are, or how “unnatural” your surroundings may seem. No previous experience is needed. For beginners, EcoNIDRA is often described as “like a guided meditation where you receive all the benefits without needing to sit up, focus, follow instructions, or stay awake.” If meditation, yoga, or outdoor practices have felt challenging or inaccessible, EcoNIDRA may offer a softer, more inviting way in. What we’ll do (60 minutes): Opening check-in & intentions to arrive together and establish a sense of shared space Guided EcoNIDRA practice: spoken guidance through somatic + sensory nature connection Nature soundscape journey for the second half of the practice Closing check-outs with optional sharing Who it’s for: Anyone seeking deep relaxation, nervous system regulation, or a gentle way to reconnect with nature—beginners and seasoned practitioners welcome.
