Blocking Off Time in Your Dragonfly Calendar
There may be times when you need to make yourself unavailable for bookings, such as personal time, appointments, or schedule changes.
Blocking off time in your Dragonfly calendar ensures clients cannot book you during those periods.
When to Block Off Time
You can block off time whenever you are unavailable, including:
Personal appointments
Time off or holidays
Schedule changes
Breaks during your day
How to Block Off Time
If you manage your availability directly inside Dragonfly, you can block time on your calendar.
In general, you will:
Open your Dragonfly calendar
Select the date and time you want to block
Create a blocked time entry
Save your changes
Once saved, that time will no longer be available for clients to book.
Sync Note
If your calendar is connected to another calendar, blocked time will automatically follow your sync settings.
You do not need to duplicate blocked time in both calendars.

Things to Keep in Mind
Blocked time always overrides your availability, meaning clients will not be able to book those time slots.
If your schedule changes, you can edit or remove blocked time at any time.
Final Note
Your Dragonfly calendar helps you manage both your availability and your personal time in one place.
Keeping your schedule updated ensures clients can only book when you are truly available, creating a smoother booking experience for everyone.
