Toby Doherty
Reiki Master Practitioner
Toby (they/he) is an artist, musician, meditator, light worker, art therapist in training, and Usui Holy Fire® III Reiki Master. They are a trans man based out of central Vermont with a heart-centered practice based in Buddhist philosophy, angelic energy, and trauma-informed care. Toby is also a clairvoyant who often receives messages in the form of visual metaphors during sessions.
About Me
I began working with Reiki in 2019 after I attended a Reiki and sound healing event organized by my future teacher. I walked into the event a complete skeptic, and left profoundly moved by what I experienced. Since then, Reiki has become an important part of both my life and my spiritual practice.
I received ICRT training in Usui Reiki Levels I & II later that year, and completed my level III master training with the Holy Fire® World Peace upgrade in 2023. I am also trained in peer support and currently completing my MS in Mental Health Counseling, so I am familiar with mental health challenges through both training and personal experience with trauma.
As a member of the LGBTQ community, I am committed to providing safe and affirming care to people of all identities.
